How ordering works
- Build your canoe. Open your model's page and choose your options. The order form shows your total as you go. If you'd like to talk it over first, email or call me, or send me your build from the form without paying.
- Reserve it with a $1,000 deposit. Pay online on the order form with PayPal or a debit/credit card, or mail a check.
- We agree on a build start date. I'll get in touch to confirm your options, final price, and when your build starts.
- Pay the balance. When your canoe is finished, I'll contact you for final payment and to schedule pickup or delivery.
- Receive it. Pick up your canoe or have it delivered to your door.
Build times
A standard canoe takes about 3–4 weeks to build, and one with custom options about 4–8 weeks, counted from your agreed build start date. Specialty materials can take longer to get; I'll let you know when we set your date.
Pickup, delivery & shipping
- Pickup: McFarland, WI (just outside Madison), by appointment.
- Home delivery in the upper Midwest: free where possible, or typically $100–$250 depending on location and schedule.
- Shipping anywhere in the lower 48 states, typically about $400. Contact me for a quote.

Deposit policy
Your deposit is fully refundable until Benjamin has talked with you and you've agreed on a build start date. After that, it becomes non-refundable. Once your canoe is built, all sales are final. Please arrange for a preview before you order if you have any questions about what to expect in the final product.
